It's incredibly easy. All you have to do is write your idea as if you were describing it to a friend - and then email it to me here at TUNDRA. The following is an example of one I received from a guy in Sarasota, Florida.
His email simply went as follows:
Chad - Have a dog chasing a golf-cart on a golf course with the words "RETIRED DOG."
Below is the actual strip I produced from Ted's idea.

Ted had a great idea, but I took it a step further to make it even more humorous by changing the wording a bit and putting the dog in a golf-cart as well. It is my job as the cartoonist to "polish & shape" an idea into something that appeals to as many people as possible while retaining the maximum humor quotient (I'm sure Einstein did some sort of mathematical theorem on this very subject.) This isn't to say that I always change the ideas I receive - a lot of the time I don't change a thing because they're perfect the way they are.
